David Arslanian

Senior Director

“Today’s market is defined by structural transformation and the disciplined allocation of capital—where shifting macro dynamics and strategic innovation converge to create meaningful opportunities for founders and investors alike. Helping leadership teams navigate these inflection points with empathy and rigor is where value gets unlocked and sustainable growth takes shape.”

With more than two decades of investment banking, technology, and executive leadership experience, David brings a unique perspective to the highly personal process of buying, selling, and investing in companies. He began working with Progress Partners as an Executive in Residence in 2017 and joined the firm as a Managing Director in January 2018.

David combines strategic and financial expertise with firsthand operating and entrepreneurial experience, approaching each transaction with empathy for founders, management teams, investors, and other stakeholders. Before joining Progress Partners, he held senior roles across advertising technology, biotechnology, and financial technology, including serving as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at Telaria.

David is also a two-time co-founder. He co-founded Inanovate, a life sciences company developing technologies to advance cancer screening and diagnostics, and AppliedQ, an advertising technology company focused on integrated video solutions for the cable and telecommunications industries. Earlier in his career, he held senior operating roles at Pointroll, Rovion, and SEI Investments.

David earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Boston and his MBA from Babson College, with a concentration in Global Strategic Management. While at Babson, he served as an appointed student member of the College’s Board of Trustees and received the Roger W. Babson Award for outstanding leadership.
