With more than three decades of experience as an investor, operator, and advisor, Parag brings deep expertise across SaaS, tech-enabled services, enterprise software, data analytics, fintech, and other technology-driven markets. He also brings an extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals developed over the course of his career.

As an operator, Parag helped scale multiple venture-backed and multinational enterprise software and technology-enabled services businesses. As an investor, he has led investments across fintech, manufacturing technology, cybersecurity, quantum computing, enterprise software, and SaaS. His combination of operating, investing, and advisory experience gives him a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing growth companies and enables him to serve as a trusted advisor to founders, CEOs, and management teams.

Prior to joining Progress Partners, Parag was with Outcome Capital, now Sojourner Capital. Earlier, he served as Director and Chief Marketing Officer of the Maryland Venture Fund. His operating experience also includes roles with high-growth companies such as High Street Partners and Hillcrest Labs, and he was the founder and CEO of Adelie Group, a technology-enabled marketing company.

Parag earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He serves on Mindshare’s Organizing Board and is an investor in several technology companies.
