Our Executive in Resident Network is Progress’s not-so-secret weapon to maintaining a boutique model while having the extensive reach, both deep and wide, that much larger banks and funds do. Over 100+ executives work with us on a regular basis to provide connectivity into companies, insights beyond the headlines, and trends and analysis to better position Progress and our clients. The group consists of executives with varied positional, vertical, and company-stage experience so we can have strategic support regardless of the client, deal, or investment opportunity.

About the Program

The EIR Program is built on a value-for-value exchange. EIRs have the opportunity to engage with the Progress Partners team on a weekly basis through a structured schedule that includes virtual calls, in-person events, and featured opportunities in marketing and live programming.

In exchange, Progress Partners asks that EIRs make a genuine effort to introduce new business opportunities, lean in when called upon for thought leadership, and bring fresh ideas and research findings to the group.

Meet Our EIR Director

Jessica Straw first joined Progress Partners as an EIR in January 2022, and one year later stepped into the role of EIR Director. In this position, she leads the group and ensures the program consistently exceeds expectations. Under her leadership, the EIR Program has evolved from a network into a vibrant, high-impact community that delivers multidimensional value to both Progress Partners and its members. In addition to overseeing the EIR Program, Jessica leverages her background in venture capital to advise several companies, providing support in growth strategy, investor readiness, and financial and operational oversight.
