John brings over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and ‘intra’preneur for start-up and medium sized technology companies where he has led product marketing, business development, sales and operations. He has a deep background in SaaS models, marketing services, internet/telecom infrastructure, security/defense, travel, and content distribution. He recently closed two M&A transactions for Eons, Inc. with Crew Media and First Media Group/Tradewinds, Inc.

Prior to joining Progress Partners, John spent five years as COO and co-founder of Panraven, a social media start-up in digital media and commemoration. Previously, he was a VP Product Management and a General Manager of Business Development with Akamai Technologies where he led creation of new product lines, strategic partnerships and strategic revenue for the company.

John graduated with honors from Cornell University and has been a speaker at Harvard University, MIT/Sloan, and the IBM Technical Institute as well as a number of industry conferences.
